  • HRD and MDS RC-1Y won't connect

I can operate the rotor with the manual controls on the RC-1Y. I can see my COM port (Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port (COM6)), and I have successfully installed the correct driver. But HRD Rotor Control won't connect when I select rotator "MDS RC-1". The "Connect" button is unchanged, and I can't move the rotor by clicking on the map. If I enter a callsign, the arrow next to the bearing of the station is grayed out and inoperable. The RC-1Y screen will "wake up" when I try to connect.
I need help and I am hoping someone here can steer me.
    Windows 10, current version HRD

Thanks for the interest! 4800 is the default, but I did try every one of the speed settings, with no luck.

I finally got it working. It was a cable issue.
Another question, is there a way to get Rotator panel to automatically track the callsign you currently have showing in the Logbook callsign field?
